All domains are created such that they can be accessed directly with or without the “www” in front of your website URL. If you are experiencing an error message when accessing either of the two URLs, then it could be a DNS, redirection or website application issue.

What is WWW?

It stands for World Wide Web and is mainly used as a subdomain name like www.yourdomain.com. This kind of subdomain name is commonly used to verify domain ownership. Due to long-standing practices, many of us may have used it in front of the domain name to access the website. However, it is not technically required since both should display the same website content by default.

Domain redirection

It is possible to redirect your website URL. If you try to type quape.net in the URL address bar, it will redirect you to https://www.quape.net/. If you wish to redirect your domain name to the URL with the same website content, kindly refer to our article about redirection (URL).
