How to securely check email?

There are 2 types of email connection – with SSL and without SSL. To connect to our servers securely, you are required to tick two boxes in your email client. Continue to read this article on how to securely check email.

Steps on on how to securely check email. (based on Outlook Express)

1. Create an email account
2. From the email account properties popup, click on Servers
3. Change both incoming and outgoing mail server to the servername you are hosted in (Refer to your welcome email)
4. From the email account properties popup, click on Advanced
5. Tick both This server requires a secure conection (SSL) checkbox (Refer to figure below).
6. Change the port number according to the below table.
