We recommend users to change their FTP password from time to time for security purposes. This article will guide you on how to change FTP password. Kindly follow the instructions below.
Edit FTP password through DirectAdmin.
Step 1: Login to DirectAdmin.
Step 2: Step 2: Click on FTP Management under the Your Account panel.
Step 3: Click on the Change button under the Password column to modify the desired account's password.
Step 4: Enter your new password and repeat the process in their respective fields. You can choose to click on the random button for the system to generate a unique and secure password. An example is shown in the image below.
Step 5: Click on the Reset button once done.
